Chosen and Dearly Loved
Colossians 3:12-14
Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive. Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

Today's passage reminds us of our identity in Christ - chosen and dearly loved. Reflect on what it means to be chosen by God. How does knowing you are deeply loved by your Creator change your perspective on life? As you meditate on God's love for you, consider how this truth empowers you to extend compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience to others. Ask God to help you "put on" these virtues like clothing, allowing His love to flow through you to those around you.
