Psalm 46:1-2

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present[b] help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.”

Do you ever live life in fear? When you watch the news and see all the terrible things that are going on in the world, does it scare you to your core? I am going to be honest and say there are times that I fear not only for my life but for my boys’ lives. It is so easy to let the enemy feel us with fear and cause us to take our focus off Christ. The Bible tells us not to fear but to trust in the Lord and know that He will never leave you or forsake you. If you have a personal relationship with Jesus, you have NOTHING to fear here on this earth. Regardless of what happens during your lifetime, you have been promised an eternity in heaven with our Savior. What fears are you struggling with that are keeping you from being bold in Christ? Think about them, write them down and lay them at the feet of Jesus. Hold on to the truth that God is our strength and refuge. He has your life in His hands. Find comfort in that today and give Him all the praise.
