Romans 15:5-6
5 Now may the God who gives[b] endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.

The apostle Paul understood the value and importance of born-again believers walking in harmony and unity together in his day. Persecution from those who despised the movement was rampant in the 1st century, so it was imperative that the believers were of one accord. In the same way, we as believers at the church ought to walk in harmony together. One of the amazing realities about being a Christian is though we may not look the same, be from the same geographical location, or have the same hobbies or passions, we can still walk in unity together under the banner of Christ. Galatians 3 tells us that as Christians, we are one in Christ. Jesus Himself tells us in John 13:35 that others will know that we are His disciples by our love for one another. So let us choose to walk in unity together. Look to connect with other believers in real relationships with them. Choose to squash the petty things that may have caused a schism with another brother or sister. Choose to be quick to forgive. May we be a people that are united on the main things in these days: Christ, and His mission for us in the world.

Psalm 133:1-3
1
How delightfully good
when brothers live together in harmony!
2
It is like fine oil on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down Aaron’s beard
onto his robes.
3
It is like the dew of Hermon[a]
falling on the mountains of Zion.
For there the Lord has appointed the blessing—
life forevermore.
