Isaiah 26:7
“The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous.”
In life, we often encounter twists, turns, and unexpected obstacles that can leave us feeling disoriented and doubtful. Isaiah 26:7 reminds us that the path of the righteous is level and smooth because of our Almighty God. Just as a skilled craftsman carefully paves a road to ensure a smooth passage, God ensures that the way of the righteous is well-prepared.
God’s promise to make our path smooth isn’t a guarantee of a problem-free life. Rather, it’s an assurance that as we trust in Him and walk in His ways, He will guide us through life’s challenges, making our journey manageable and purposeful. Our responsibility lies in wholeheartedly surrendering to His plan and seeking His wisdom. Here are two practical steps that we can take in following Him.
Step 1: Embrace Trust
Take a moment to reflect on your current circumstances. Are there areas in your life where you’ve been trying to control the outcome? Surrender those areas to God and choose to trust that His plan is better than anything you could imagine.
Step 2: Walk in Righteousness
Examine your daily choices and actions. Are there areas where you’ve strayed from God’s ways? Commit to walking in righteousness by aligning your decisions with His Word. As you do, you’ll find that the path becomes clearer and smoother.
Remember, the journey of faith is not about avoiding challenges, but about navigating them with God by your side. When you place your trust in the Lord, He will make your path level and smooth, guiding you toward His perfect plan for your life.
