Dr. Derek Smith
Pastor Derek and his family came to Living Hope in December of 2009. He is happily married to Mrs. Chrystal and they have five children, a daughter Reaghan, and four boys, Dawson, Harrison, Anderson, and Cayson. Pastor Derek is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Derek has a deep passion for God’s Word and for seeing people saved. In his spare time, Pastor Derek enjoys playing outside and spending time with his kids, going on dates with his wife, fishing, and going to the beach with his family.
