Psalm 103:11-13

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
    so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
As a father shows compassion to his children,
    so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.”

I am grateful that the Lord forgives me of my sins and washes me white as snow. Reading these verses and leaning into the truth of how far God goes to forgive me is overwhelming. I know that I struggle at times and want to believe the lie of the enemy that my sin is just too great for the Lord to forgive. Can any of you relate to that??

I find myself at times pondering questions like, Will God really forgive me for what I just did? Does God forgive murderers and rapists? If a person confesses their sins right before they die, will God still forgive them and allow them to go to heaven? I know that I am not alone with those types of questions and I go back to these verses to remind myself that the answer is YES to all my questions.

My mind will never be able to grasp the depth of Christ’s love for me and His ability to always forgive me for my sins. I just need to trust in Him and have faith in His word. I also need to be more intentional to share the glorious truth with people around me. I want to have a burning desire to share my faith and the peace that comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus. If you are a believer, you hold the truth that can help all situations that people are dealing with. Don’t keep it to yourself, share the JOY!
